Traveller self-service portal
The traveller reviews the agent's proposal, submits data and sees their reservations. Choices and adjustments are forwarded to the team administering the trip.
Selected offers, traveller details and payment links are exchanged in separate messages. Agents collect the same information repeatedly, while customers cannot see what they still need to do.
How the solution works
- Submit an agent-selected proposal
- Get a selection of a specific version
- Collect data needed for the journey only
- Forward action to order progress
- Show bookings, documents and other action
Key challenges
- The client is unable to complete an offer made by the agent
- Traveler's profile and travel history fragmented
Solution capabilities
Revision of the proposal
Displays the services, total price provided, significant terms and validity of the offer. The choice is stored with the version.
Travellers data
Separates the customer from the travelers and allows the submission of document data to the extent necessary for the service. The common group reference does not open all personal documents.
Payment progress
Indicates an agreed term and a payment source response. Successful payment does not automatically prove booking all components.
Travel documents
Presents current tickets, service coupons and contacts, separating modified versions.
Referrals and Wishes
The request is associated with the trip; the help time is visible before sending. Marketing choices are distinguished from the necessary travel service.
Business context
- The client is unable to complete an offer made by the agent
- Selected offers, traveller details and payment links are exchanged in separate messages. Agents collect the same information repeatedly, while customers cannot see what they still need to do.
- Traveler's profile and travel history fragmented
- Personal data, documents, preferences, loyalty numbers, previous purchases, consents and service history are stored in different locations. The traveller must repeat the information and the employee cannot conveniently rely on previous bookings and agreements to prepare the offer.
- It is easier for the traveller to accept and complete the offer
- The customer wants to compare the journey prepared by the agent, provide data and understand the course of payment. The choices made in the self-service reach the order-handling team. This helps to continue the sale after consultation and then discuss the next trip comfortably according to the saved preferences.

Potential impact (%)
The ranges indicate an illustrative relative change in the metric under the stated assumptions. Results depend on the starting position and actual use of the solution. Percentages for different metrics must not be added together.
Agent Administration Time
12–36%Decreasing
This illustrative scenario assumes that 30-60% of manual data entry and handover work can be addressed. That share is assumed to fall by 40-60%. Company data is needed to verify both the addressable workload and the resulting change.
Measure the minutes of the agent after the submission of the offer until the completion of the required client actions.
Repeated State Appeals
12–42%Decreasing
This illustrative scenario assumes that 30-60% of errors can be addressed through the data and rule checks described. That share is assumed to fall by 40-70%. Company data is needed to verify both the addressable share and the resulting change.
Counting status enquiries for one trip, separate from new counseling.
Share of orders started by travellers, completed with purchase
2–10%Increasing
Sample starting part - 50%. Assumption: 10-25% of the remaining cases involve incomplete travel data and choice adjustments; a solution would help solve 20-40% of these cases.
Completed purchases are divided by all orders started by the same type of travel. Unapproved locations and cancellations of the supplier are marked separately.
Conditional calculation scenarios. The assumptions have not been validated against client measurements.
When this solution is relevant
- Travellers repeatedly provide the same data and inquire into already confirmed booking details.
- Documents, payments and travel changes are provided through separate channels, making it difficult to find relevant information.
Project scope and implementation
The traveller's actions are linked to the agency's and travel organizer's booking data. If the organiser's self-service already allows for convenient documentation and management of changes, its capabilities are used. The Agency portal is created for services and service actions not covered by this self-service.
Further development options
- Use of repeat client data with clear update, access and storage terms.
