Individual training plan and progress system

The coach preserves the goal, the sports plan and its revisions agreed with the member. It is easier to continue the work that has been started when the coach or member's opportunities change.

Goals, plans, progress, well-being and recommendations are kept in the coach's notes, apps or client devices. A new coach or another channel employee does not see the previous plan and agreements, so the client has to explain them again.

How the solution works

  1. Discuss the purpose and limits of coach service
  2. Prepare an executable individual progress
  3. Collecting Performance and Experience Facts
  4. Review the result at the agreed time
  5. Change the plan or transfer to another authorized coach

Key challenges

  • Client goals and coach recommendations are not continuous between channels

Solution capabilities

Member's Goal

The scope of the plan is based on a true coach service, member's capabilities and properly assessed limitations. Weight loss is not considered a universal goal for everyone.

Relevant plan

The coach approves the exercise plan, load and allowable alternatives. The member sees relevant instructions, and previous versions of the plan are saved to view changes.

The fact of performance

The activity marked by the member and the observation of the coach are separated. The app tag does not prove the correct equipment.

Review and transmission

An agreed overestimation has a responsible person; only necessary, legally available information is transmitted to the exchange coach.

Proper response

Feedback has a clear review time. Questions outside the coach's competence are directed to the right specialist, not changed to an automatic treatment plan.

Business context

Client goals and coach recommendations are not continuous between channels
Goals, plans, progress, well-being and recommendations are kept in the coach's notes, apps or client devices. A new coach or another channel employee does not see the previous plan and agreements, so the client has to explain them again.
Personal plan remains continuous as circumstances change
It is important for the club member that his goals and previous agreements do not disappear after the change of coach. The visible plan and its revisions help to continue working within the current capabilities. This provides a basis for discussing further training and services according to the member's goal.

Potential impact (%)

The ranges indicate an illustrative relative change in the metric under the stated assumptions. Results depend on the starting position and actual use of the solution. Percentages for different metrics must not be added together.

Missed Plan Previews

5–25%Decreasing

This illustrative scenario assumes that 20-50% of missed actions can be identified through task and deadline tracking. That share is assumed to fall by 25-50%. Company data is needed to verify both the addressable share and the resulting change.

Counting timeless previews without a matched cause.

Time of previous plan and progress review following change of coach

16–42%Decreasing

This illustrative scenario assumes that 40-70% of information searches and repeated cross-checks can be addressed. That share is assumed to fall by 40-60%. Company data is needed to verify both the addressable workload and the resulting change.

Measure working minutes to restore previously but not transmitted plan information.

Part of the members continuing with the agreed sports plan

1–7%Increasing

Sample starting portion - 60%. Assumption: 10-25% of the remaining cases involve undiscussed difficulties in the exercise plan; a solution would help resolve 20-40% of these cases.

The plan shall be divided by the members continuing according to agreed participation criteria among all members who have started it. A uniform review period of the plan shall apply; the physical result shall be assessed separately.

Conditional calculation scenarios. The assumptions have not been validated against client measurements.

When this solution is relevant

  • Coaches provide continuous individual service, but plans and progress records are kept separately.
  • As the coach or communication channel changes, the client has to reinterpret their goals and previous plan.

Project scope and implementation

The system is used for continuous individual sports plan and trainer reviews. For general one-time group classes, registration and attendance accounting may be sufficient. Changes to the plan and interpretation of progress are supervised by the coach.

Further development options

  • The course of other individual programs, selecting the appropriate goals and methods of evaluation for them.
